Gills-Welsh Lens Loop

double-ended, 5 mm wide x 7 mm loop, olive tip on opposite end, 4-3/4″ (12.1 cm)?Gills-Welsh Lens Loop is a commonly used tool during cataract and lens extraction procedures. The loop is used to hold the lens in place to prevent it from falling back into the vitreous and for eventual extraction. The loop also features an olive tip to aid in separating the nucleus of the lens from surrounding tissue.
